There are few emotions more powerful than hope. But these days, hope often feels hard to come by.
Where can we find a hope that won’t disappoint us? Hope Explored introduces us to the Christian faith by introducing us to the person at the centre of the Christian faith, Jesus Christ, in three short sessions. Throughout the centuries, Christians have considered Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection to be the source of real hope: a joyful expectation for the future, based on true events in the past, which changes everything about our present.
Each session will last around 1hr, with opportunity for informal discussion to continue afterwards. We’ll look at key passages from one of the New Testament introductions to the Christian faith, the Gospel of Luke (which we will provide for you). There will be chance to discuss the passages as well as a short talk on its importance.
